The ActiveAid SC is a self‑propelled shower commode chair designed to be slimmer, more compact, and more modular than traditional options. A refined frame and new slim wheels/hand rims help the SC navigate tight bathrooms and narrow doorways, while a wide selection of seating, color, and adjustability options lets you tailor the configuration to the individual—without custom fabrication.

Design & Aesthetic

Form meets function with a compact, user‑focused frame that prioritizes maneuverability and access. Choose from five premium frame colors—Red, White, Blue, Black, and Silver—to match personal taste or facility styling.

  • Two height‑adjustable frame options (Standard, Short) expand seat‑to‑floor range.
  • Rear‑wheel position and other frame adjustments support setup for transfers and toilet alignment.
  • Slim profile improves clearance in small bathrooms and through tight doorways.

Comfort & Seating

Five ergonomic seat shape families enhance access and comfort, supporting hygiene routines and positioning goals.

  • Contoured Seats – Front‑open and closed‑front designs; Gel Top available on 18″×16″ and 18″×18″ sizes.
  • Specialty Contoured Seats – Formed seats with front, left‑side, right‑side, or rear openings, plus closed front; available for 16″, 18″, and 20″ frames. (Gel Top not available on Specialty seats.)

Adjustability & Customization

Fine‑tune the SC to user needs with independent adjustments designed for daily comfort and control.

  • Adjustable Back – 0°, 7°, 14° positions; available with solid or sling backrests. Back angle changes may affect seat‑to‑floor height for toilet clearance or transfers.
  • Adjustable Armrests – Height‑adjustable, removable, and angle‑compatible with folded/angled back positions (0°, 7°, 14°).
  • Seat Aperture (Fore/Aft) – Independent of frame and back for precise perineal access.
  • Adjustable Seat Slope – Independent of the frame; four 0.5″ increments from 0–1.5″ to support stability and reaching.

Maneuverability / Portability

A narrow footprint and compact geometry deliver excellent access in tight spaces with improved turning performance.

  • Narrow overall widths: 16″ seat as narrow as ~21.5″; 18″ seat ~23.5″; 20″ seat ~25.5″.
