How the Back Slit Works

Many vehicle carriers hold a folded wheelchair on an arm that sticks up behind the chair. A regular cover would have to go on before the chair is loaded, which is awkward. The full back slit on this cover solves that. Load the wheelchair onto the carrier first, then slip the cover over the chair from the front, letting the carrier arm pass through the slit. Pull the cord at the bottom snug, and the chair is covered.

Warranty

Diestco covers this product with a 6-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. If the cover proves defective, Diestco will repair or replace it at its discretion. Damage caused by misuse, including using the cover on the road without securing it, is not covered.

Warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer. Independent Living Superstore is happy to assist customers with warranty questions and help coordinate communication with the manufacturer whenever possible.

Shipping

Diestco makes each cover to order, so please allow approximately 2 weeks for your cover to ship. It ships directly from the manufacturer, and tracking information will be provided once it is on its way.

Important Safety & Travel Information

• Always secure the cover when driving. When your wheelchair is on a vehicle carrier, run bungee cords or rope (not included) over the top of the cover and through the grommets. This keeps the cover from billowing and flapping at road speeds.
• Flapping wears out covers quickly. Constant flapping in the wind can damage the cover, and damage from using it on the road without a securing device is considered misuse.
• Water-resistant, not waterproof. The cover stands up well to weather but is not designed to keep a wheelchair completely dry in heavy or prolonged rain.
