Designed for maximum versatility, this groundbreaking mobility aid empowers users with self-propulsion capabilities when off the aircraft while remaining narrow and maneuverable for onboard use. Built for travel comfort and caregiver convenience, the KM-AA20 is a game changer in the world of transport mobility.
Maneuverability / Portability
Crafted with a 61 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum solid welded frame, the KM-AA20 is engineered to navigate tight airplane aisles while remaining sturdy and easy to maneuver. Swing-back armrests reduce overall width when necessary, while 11" extra-long reach push handles offer superior control for attendants. For complete flexibility, the chair converts between transport and self-propel modes using a foot-operated quick-release rear wheel mechanism.
Power / Performance
This convertible aisle wheelchair is built for travel efficiency and comfort. It includes 24” flat-free rear wheels for independent mobility and 7” rear transport mode wheels for aisle navigation. The solid frame structure supports up to 300 lbs, and the snap-in safety belt and easy-access brake locks provide extra security across both use modes.
Comfort / Control
User-friendly design features include swivel and height-adjustable footplates, ensuring proper leg support for a variety of users. A padded seat and ergonomic push handles enhance user and caregiver experience, while the narrow frame and 6” front casters make tight corners and narrow passages easy to manage during boarding or deplaning.
