The Circle Specialty Klip Posterior Walker is a lightweight gait trainer for children, teens, and young adults who need support with day-to-day walking. The frame sits behind the user, leaving the front open so they can walk upright with a more natural stride and posture. Rear wheels roll forward only, to keep the walker from rolling back.

Choose the Klip in four styles and four sizes. Add a flip-up seat for rest breaks, large 8" front wheels for sidewalks and outdoor paths, or both. Every Klip is height adjustable to grow with the user and folds for the car or closet.

Built for Natural, Upright Walking

Because the Klip sits behind the user instead of in front, it encourages them to stand tall and step forward rather than lean over a frame. The rear wheels only roll forward, so the walker won't roll back if the user leans into it. As walking skills improve, the override bracket releases that lock for free movement in both directions.

A locking collar reduces play between the inner legs and the frame, so the walker feels steady and predictable. On the Standard and With Seat styles, a foot-activated swivel wheel lock clicks when engaged, so you can hear that it's set.

Seat Option for Rest Breaks

The With Seat styles add a flip-up seat that stays up and out of the way for walking and standing, then folds down when the user needs to rest. They can take a break without leaving the walker, which helps on longer days at school or in the community.

8" Wheels for Outdoor Mobility

The 8" Wheels styles replace the standard front casters with large 8" swivel wheels. They roll more easily over sidewalks, grass, park paths, and uneven ground. The 8" wheel models do not include the swivel wheel lock.

Grows With the User

Handles adjust in height on every size, and the walker can be configured with forearm, pelvic, and seat supports (sold separately) as needs change. On every size except XS, the front and rear legs can be swapped to use the Klip as an anterior walker in front of the user.

When it's time to go, the Klip folds for the car trunk or closet. Raise the seat first on the seat styles, then press the latch pins and push the front legs toward the rear legs.

To find the right handle height, have the user stand in their shoes with arms relaxed at their sides and measure from the wrist crease to the floor. Choose the size whose handle height range includes that measurement for the style you want.

Warranty

Circle Specialty warrants the Klip frame against manufacturing defects for three years from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser. Non-durable parts such as grips and rubber components, and damage from misuse or negligence, are not covered.

Care and Safety

  • Before each use, check that all four legs are set to the same height and that every push pin fully protrudes through its hole.
  • When locking a swivel wheel, make sure it clicks into place.
  • Raise the seat before folding the walker.
  • Clean with warm water and mild detergent, wipe dry with a soft cloth, and check fasteners regularly.

How do I know which size Klip to order?

Measure from the user's wrist crease to the floor while they stand in shoes with arms relaxed, then pick the size whose handle height range covers that number. Check the weight capacity too, from 75 lbs (XS) to 190 lbs (Large).

Does my child need the seat?

Choose a With Seat style if your child tires quickly or will use the walker for long stretches, since they can sit and rest without leaving the frame. If they mainly walk short distances, the lighter Standard style is usually enough.

Do we need the 8" wheels?

Choose an 8" Wheels style if the walker will be used often on sidewalks, grass, or playground surfaces, where the large front wheels roll more easily. For mostly indoor use, the Standard front wheels are fine and include a swivel lock.

Will the walker roll backward?

No. The rear wheels only roll forward, so the walker won't roll back if your child leans into it. When they're ready, the override bracket lets the wheels roll both ways.

Can the Klip be used as a front (anterior) walker?

Yes. On the Small, Medium, and Large sizes, the front and rear legs swap to turn it into an anterior walker; the XS is posterior only.

Does it fold to fit in a car?

Yes. The Klip folds for transport and weighs 9 to 21 lbs depending on style and size.
