With advanced features like wall-hugging pivot motion, variable width adjustment, and a compact foldable design, this bed is ideal for homes, facilities, and hospitals seeking comfort without compromise.
Maneuverability / Portability
The RetractaBed is designed to roll at any height and can be stored upright in just 4 square feet of space—no tools or disassembly required. It easily fits through narrow doors using the Evac Position™ feature, and the SureLock caster system offers dependable lock stability when needed. Optional casters and bumpers add to its portability and facility-safe mobility.
Power / Performance
This bed includes electronic controls through a user-friendly 3-position pendant, enabling smooth adjustments to head, knee, and height settings. Its unique retracting motion brings users closer to nightstands and reduces the need to reach or reposition. Choose from two frame types: a standard fixed-width model or an optional variable-width model expanding from 35” to 42” wide. The system supports up to 500 lbs (or 600 lbs with the heavy-duty option).
Comfort / Control
With Clinical-Contour® positioning, the RetractaBed gently reduces skin shear while minimizing sliding during repositioning. This thoughtful feature enhances comfort for extended stays and allows head and knee sections to move in tandem. Built-in drainage bag hooks and embedded rail controls improve ease for caregivers, while the ComfortWide™ expansion feature allows for a more spacious sleep surface at the push of a button.
