What's New in the Air Pro 2027

OAS made eight upgrades for 2027. Each one answers something owners of the previous Air Pro asked for.

1. Wider, Thicker Seat The seat grows to 17.7 x 17.7 x 2 inches, up from 16.5 x 16.5 x 1.2 inches, for more room and more cushion underneath you.	2. Stronger Armrests A reinforced triangular frame raises the armrest rating from 88 pounds to 300 pounds, so you can push up on them with confidence when standing or transferring.
3. More Room Between Armrests Inside armrest width increases from 17.2 inches to 18.9 inches for a less confined fit and easier transfers.	4. Refined Frame Lock The redesigned lock holds more securely when the chair is open and releases more easily when it is time to fold. The whole chair folds in about three seconds.
5. Better Road Handling Higher ground clearance and adjustable anti-tip wheels handle cracked sidewalks, door thresholds and gravel paths with less scraping and more stability.	6. 20% More Driving Power Dual brushless motors now deliver 360 watts total, up from 300, for smoother hills and quieter rides at about 50 dB.
7. Secure Battery Cover A new cover keeps the removable, airline-friendly battery locked in place over bumps and ready to pull out for charging or flying.	8. Softer Push Handle The handle is now wrapped in soft leather, a small change caregivers will feel on every walk.

Built for Travel

The Air Pro 2027 is 23.2 inches wide with a 30-inch turning radius, so it fits through standard doorways and turns comfortably in elevators, hallways and crowded aisles. Folded, it measures 10.6 x 26.6 x 23.2 inches, small enough for a car trunk, a closet or a cruise cabin. The 24V lithium battery is FAA and IATA compliant for air travel and can be charged on the chair or removed and charged separately in about four hours.
