The Med-Mizer Self-Adjusting Air/Foam Mattress (Protekt® Supreme Support) is a hybrid support surface that combines self-equalizing air cells with a breathable comfort foam layer for a more adaptive, “just right” feel. Use it as a non-powered mattress, or add the optional alternating pressure pump for a dynamic air-cycling upgrade—without changing the mattress.

Maneuverability / Portability
Built for real-world care settings, this mattress is available in common hospital bed sizes (36" x 80" x 6" and 42" x 80" x 6"). The hybrid design requires minimal setup—no complicated programming—and the optional pump can be added when you want powered alternating support. The stretch nylon cover is designed for everyday practicality and routine wipe-down care.

Power / Performance
Inside the mattress is a series of 10 interconnected air cells with pressure valves that continually equalize based on movement and position changes. This “equalization” approach is designed to help redistribute body weight by increasing surface contact. On top, Med-Mizer uses Visco Gel Polymer Technology (VGPT™)—an open-cell visco foam infused with gel polymers—chosen for faster heat dissipation and improved breathability compared to traditional foam.

Comfort / Control
A sloped heel section supports comfortable lower-leg positioning, and the cover is described as fluid resistant, anti-microbial/anti-bacterial, breathable, and fire retardant—helpful for maintaining a clean, comfortable sleep surface in homecare or facility routines.
