Universal Therapy System (UTS)
The Universal Therapy System (UTS) provides advanced alternating-pressure and continuous-low-pressure therapy to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers from Stage 1 through Stage 4. Designed for hospital, long-term, or home-care use, this system automatically adjusts to each patient’s weight and condition, promoting comfort, healing, and safety.
Pressure Management & Clinical Use
The UTS is indicated for patients at low to medium risk of developing pressure injuries, as well as those with existing ulcers up to Stage 4, in accordance with clinical guidelines and facility policy. The system’s integrated automatic weight-sensing pump continuously monitors patient load to deliver optimal air pressure without manual calibration.
Power & Performance
The system features both alternating-pressure and continuous-minimized-pressure therapy modes to enhance blood flow and minimize tissue breakdown. A foam-in-air-cell design provides dependable protection and comfort even during power interruptions, maintaining safe support and pressure relief.
Comfort & Control
The hand pendant control gives patients the ability to adjust mattress functions independently, ideal for individuals living alone or with limited mobility. The removable foam comfort layer can be placed under the top cover for additional softness or stored beneath the air cells when not needed—ensuring flexibility for various care settings.
