Carilex Centrius Multi-Therapy Air Mattress System – Alternating Pressure & CLP (550 lb Capacity)
The Carilex Centrius is a multi-therapy air mattress system designed to deliver intelligent pressure redistribution and consistent support across a wide range of care environments. Using advanced IPS (Intelligent Pressure Sensing) technology, the system continuously monitors patient movement and automatically adjusts internal pressure to maintain optimal support and comfort.
Positioned as a mid-to-high tier therapy system, Centrius is built for users who need more than a basic alternating pressure mattress. With automated comfort control, multiple therapy modes, and continuous monitoring, it provides a strong balance of performance, simplicity, and reliability for both homecare and clinical settings.

Best For
- Users needing pressure redistribution from medium to very high risk levels
- Homecare, hospital, and long-term care environments
- Caregivers who prefer automated pressure management
- Patients requiring alternating and constant pressure therapy
- Settings where quiet operation and comfort are important
Support / Performance
Centrius uses Intelligent Pressure Sensing (IPS) to automatically detect patient movement and adjust air pressure in real time. The system provides alternating pressure therapy with a 10-minute cycle as well as Constant Low Pressure (CLP) mode for consistent support. A Max Inflate setting creates a firm surface for safer transfers and nursing care.
Comfort / Usability
The multi-cell air design helps distribute weight more evenly across the surface, improving comfort and reducing pressure concentration points. Automatic settings (Soft, Medium, Firm) adjust to different body types, while the 4-way stretch cover helps reduce shear and manage moisture.
Design & Convenience
The lightweight pump operates quietly and includes safety features such as low-pressure and power failure alarms, memory recall, and quick-connect coupling. CPR deflation allows rapid air release in emergencies, and integrated cable management keeps setup organized.

- Centrius power unit (pump)
