The Evolv’s adaptability reduces the need for costly custom modifications, making it an excellent choice for both individual users and multi-user facilities.
Positioning
The Evolv’s pivot points align with the body’s natural movement to minimize shear during transitions, keeping supports like hip guides, laterals, and headrests in proper alignment from sitting to standing. Adjustable footplates and optional independent knee pads accommodate hip or knee contractures, ensuring safe, comfortable positioning across various body types.
Accessibility & Independence
An open base allows easier independent transfers. Options like the Transfer Seat, Rotating Seat, Swing-Away Front, or Removable Back improve accessibility for standing pivot or lift-assisted transfers. Users can achieve the standing position with the standard manual hydraulic actuator or upgrade to the Pow’r Up Lift for push-button operation.
