OneButtonSafeTurn: Get Up Without the Struggle

Most people leave a bed by rolling to one side, pushing up on an arm, and swinging their legs over – a motion that's genuinely hard after surgery, with weakness, or with limited mobility. It's also where a lot of falls happen.

OneButtonSafeTurn does that work for you. Press and hold one button, and the whole bed pivots roughly 90 degrees, carrying you smoothly from lying flat to sitting upright at the edge with your feet down. Because your body turns as one unit, there's no shearing or dragging against the sheets and no need for a caregiver to lift or pull. The turn is configured to exit toward the left or the right, so it matches the side of the room the bed sits in.

More Than One Way to Get Comfortable

Beyond the signature turn, the ActiveCare Deluxe adjusts the way any premium hospital bed should – all with a simple handset:

Full chair position. The bed folds into a supported, upright chair shape for reading, watching TV, eating, or simply sitting up without leaving the bed.

Full-electric Hi-Lo height. The whole bed raises and lowers from about 12.75 to 28.75 inches. Lower it to sit down and stand safely; raise it to a comfortable working height so caregivers aren't bending over.

Head and knee articulation. Independent head and knee adjustment helps with circulation, breathing, swelling, and everyday comfort.

The Deluxe is the top of the ActiveCare line, and it shows in the details that come standard. Hidden casters keep the residential look intact while still letting you reposition the bed. Battery backup keeps the bed working – including the rotating exit – during a power outage, and built-in under-bed lighting makes nighttime safer and easier to navigate. The mattress isn't an afterthought bolted on at checkout – it's the MM Deluxe, a multi-layer pressure-redistribution foam mattress with firmer, high-density support through the head and torso where the body needs it most during long hours in bed. It ships sized to the bed, so there's no gap at the edges and no guesswork about fit.

The included sheet set is made specifically for an adjustable bed. Ordinary sheets slide, bunch, and pull loose every time the head or knees move; these are cut to stay put through every position change, so the surface stays smooth and comfortable and making the bed is one less daily chore for caregivers.

Delivery

This is a large, heavy bed, and we want it to arrive stress-free. We offer several delivery options, including white glove delivery – your bed is brought inside, set up in the room you choose, and all the packaging is removed and hauled away. Warranty

The Med-Mizer ActiveCare Deluxe is covered by Med-Mizer's manufacturer warranty: a lifetime warranty on welds, 15 years on the frame, 2 years on electronics and motors, and 1 year on wood products, casters, handsets, and miscellaneous parts. Coverage excludes damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, accidents, or normal wear.
